Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov is currently on a working visit to Estonia. In Tallinn, she met with Margus Tsahkna, Estonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is also responsible for European affairs.
‘We discussed the geopolitical developments in the region, the steps taken by our country on its path to EU membership, and the priorities for the coming period. We have much to learn from Estonia’s experience in the EU accession process, including how to strengthen our state institutions and increase our resilience to disinformation’, said Cristina Gherasimov.
Deputy Prime Minister Gherasimov welcomed the decision to open the Estonian Embassy in Chișinău and expressed her gratitude for the fact that the Republic of Moldova remains a priority in the development assistance provided by Estonia.
