Ion Ceban, the mayor of the capital and leader of the National Alternative Movement, stated that “the country needs a clear law on parking”, TRIBUNA reports.

“It is public manipulation for those in government to claim that an internal regulation is sufficient.

We have a regulation, we have created and continue to create parking spaces, but a law is needed — one that clearly defines who is responsible for what, the fees applied in different areas of the city, who handles fines, where the collected funds go, and many other aspects,” the politician said.

Ion Ceban reiterated that the law has already been drafted and is currently in Parliament — deputies only need to vote on it.
