The advancement of the Republic of Moldova on its path toward European integration, measures to stimulate economic growth and attract investments, as well as developments in the regional security environment, were discussed by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and German Bundestag MP Tilman Kuban, TRIBUNA reports.

The head of the Executive emphasized that the Government is focusing on two key objectives: accelerating the European integration process and boosting economic growth, including by attracting more foreign investors to the Republic of Moldova. According to the Prime Minister, the pace of reforms is appreciated at the European level, and the authorities aim to further increase the speed of implementation.

The German official congratulated the Government in Chișinău for its achievements on the European path: “We see significant progress, and we will continue to support you in the necessary areas,” Tilman Kuban said.

On the economic side, the interlocutors discussed stimulating investments and encouraging large companies to enter the Moldovan market. They also addressed the role of Chambers of Commerce and the advantages offered by the country’s Free Economic Zones. Priority sectors for investors include the financial sector, the IT industry, and modern agriculture.
