The National Alternative Movement (MAN) is calling for the Prime Minister to be heard today in a plenary session of Parliament and will sign the motion of no confidence against the Minister of Energy together with the opposition parties, TRIBUNA reports.
“We believe that all parliamentary and extra‑parliamentary parties must consolidate their efforts to obtain justice for the people.
We insist on:
- a substantial reduction of tariffs;
- applying the reduced tariffs retroactively;
- recalculating the bills already issued, especially for December and January,” the MPs stated.
MAN argues that the government’s recent decision on tariffs is late and insufficient.
“The reductions should have been implemented at least two months earlier, before the start of the cold season. In their current form, the announced measures are nothing more than ‘window dressing’ and an insult to citizens who continue to receive enormous bills,” the party concluded.
