Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu met with Audrone Perkauskiene, Deputy Director‑General for Eastern Europe and Central Asia at the European External Action Service, and the EU representative in the Transnistrian settlement process, TRIBUNA reports.
“Peaceful settlement of the Transnistrian conflict remains our top priority. We are focusing on the economic and social reintegration of the citizens living on the left bank of the Nistru. We are a peaceful country, a country that aspires to be part of the free and developed world — and we want the same for our people on the left bank.
We thank the European External Action Service for all the support provided in recent years. It is extremely important for us to have reliable partners in the reintegration process, as well as in the Republic of Moldova’s EU accession efforts,” stated Igor Grosu.
