Igor Dodon, the president of the Socialist faction in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and a member of Moldova’s delegation to PACE, is taking part in the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, held in Strasbourg from 26–30 January 2026, TRIBUNA reports.
Igor Dodon will attend working meetings and bilateral discussions, during which he will present the real situation in our country.
He has also decided to join the Group of European Conservatives and Patriots within PACE and is expected to officially become a member of this group later this week.
The PACE winter session brings together parliamentarians from 46 member states of the Council of Europe and serves as an important international platform for discussing key topics related to democracy, human rights, the rule of law, and cooperation among countries in the region.
