Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu met with Marta Kos, the European Commissioner for Enlargement, during the World Economic Forum in Davos. They discussed the Moldovan government’s measures to accelerate economic growth and the progress made on the country’s path toward EU accession.
Munteanu emphasized that support from European partners strengthens confidence in Moldova’s European trajectory.
Marta Kos praised the progress in implementing the two pillars of the Growth Plan — reforms and investment attraction. The government has already completed over 90% of the reforms required for the next EU disbursement, and the consolidated report is expected to be submitted to the European Commission at the end of January.
