Starting 19 January 2026, the Ministry of Finance will begin paying indexed deposits to former Banca de Economii clients born up to 1991, who registered by 31 December 2025 or did not collect previous payments.

Funds can be withdrawn at any Poșta Moldovei office, with an identity document.

Heirs must present a death certificate and notarized inheritance certificate; representatives must provide a power of attorney.

Depositors who have not yet applied may still do so by presenting their ID and savings books for accounts opened before 1 January 1992.

For 2026, the state budget allocates 8 million lei for these payments.
