In the first five days of the subscription period, held between 12–21 January 2026, the issuance of government securities carried out through the eVMS.md platform registered total investments amounting to 90,597,200 lei, TRIBUNA reports.
According to the Ministry of Finance, 705 transactions were completed by 589 investors, confirming the population’s continued interest in the state’s saving and investment instruments.
Most of the financial resources attracted during the first five subscription days were directed toward 1‑year government bonds, which recorded investments of 84,232,800 lei through 563 transactions made by 509 investors.
Meanwhile, 4‑year government bonds attracted investments totaling 6,364,400 lei, through 142 transactions carried out by 129 investors.
The Ministry of Finance reminds the public that it has established a monthly frequency for government securities issuances, ensuring constant access to safe saving and investment instruments. The interest rate is fixed, and payments are made semiannually, directly into investors’ bank accounts.
According to the schedule, in the first quarter of 2026, the next subscription sessions are planned for 9–18 February 2026 and 9–18 March 2026, where investors will be able to choose bonds with maturities of 1, 2, 3, or 4 years.
