Throughout 2025, Parliament received 4,400 petitions and verbal requests. Citizens reported nearly 6,400 issues, with 85% of petitions submitted in written form. Additionally, 676 verbal requests were registered, TRIBUNA reports.
According to statistical data, 86.2% of the petitions were submitted by individuals, while the rest came from legal entities. The issues raised mainly concerned alleged violations of the right to free access to justice, the right to personal security and dignity, as well as the right to medical assistance and social protection.
Petitions addressed to Parliament came both from within the Republic of Moldova and from abroad. The largest share of requests (approximately 45%) came from residents of the municipality of Chișinău. Residents of the Transnistrian region submitted 580 petitions, 501 petitions were received from Orhei district, and 107 from citizens of Hîncești district.
Parliament examined 2,888 petitions, representing 65.6% of the total received.
The organization, processing, and monitoring of petitions and hearings are carried out through the “e‑Petitions” information system.
Citizens may submit petitions to Parliament either verbally or in writing. Petitions can also be submitted online via the platform https://petitii.parlament.md/.
