In light of the deteriorating security situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova advises Moldovan citizens to avoid any travel to this country. Those already present on Iranian territory are urged to consider leaving immediately via available safe routes.

Moldovan citizens currently in Iran are encouraged to notify the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Moldova accredited in Baku, providing their location and contact details in case evacuation measures become necessary.

Departure from Iran is possible by air, via regular commercial flights, or by land through the Republic of Turkey or the Republic of Armenia. Any potential evacuation operations through the Republic of Azerbaijan may be carried out only with prior authorization from the Azerbaijani authorities and with the support of the Moldovan mission in Baku.
