President Maia Sandu visited the construction site of the new military unit in Băcioi, TRIBUNA reports.

“For many years we have spoken about the poor conditions in which Moldovan soldiers live and train. At last, things are changing for the better. This is what the construction site of the new military unit in Băcioi looks like. The camp will provide modern accommodation and training facilities, in line with the best international practices,” she stated.

The Head of State emphasized that investments in defence are investments in peace, stability, and the confidence that—even in a complicated world—we can take care of one another and fulfil our duty to the country with dignity.
