On the second day of Christmas, the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova was visited by several groups of carolers and well-wishers, who brought the joy of the winter holidays into the institution. Dressed in traditional costumes, children and adults announced the Nativity of Christ and conveyed wishes of health, peace, and a prosperous year.
President Maia Sandu, together with the staff of the Presidential Administration, warmly welcomed the guests and watched the performances presented by the “Stejăreii” Folk Ensemble of the “Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” Theoretical High School, the children’s choir “Vitejii” from the “Mihai Viteazul” Theoretical High School in Chișinău, as well as a group of carolers from the town of Ialoveni. The Head of State thanked them for the emotions they brought and for preserving and passing on national traditions.
The Christmas tree at the Presidency can be visited until January 15. Visitors are welcome to come with their loved ones and take photos by the presidential tree: Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
