The U.S. Embassy and Moldovan Ministry of Internal Affairs will conduct a simulation exercise for the management of an emergency situation today, December 9, 2025.

This exercise is part of regular coordination between U.S. Embassy Chisinau and Moldovan law enforcement agencies and builds on successful similar past exercises, including most recently in 2022.

This simulated emergency response exercise is an opportunity for the U.S. Embassy to work together with several Moldovan law enforcement units to test effectiveness and assess areas for improvement.

The simulation exercise will take place on U.S. Embassy premises and involve movement of IGSU special rescue vehicles on Mateevici Street.
