The Government is launching the campaign “Library under the Christmas Tree”, now in its fourth edition. Throughout December, books will be collected under the tree in the Government House to be donated to school libraries across local communities in the Republic of Moldova.
Everyone is invited to join the campaign between December 1–24, 2025. Books can be brought daily, Monday to Friday, from 12:00 to 17:00, at the Government House, entrance from Mitropolit Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni Street.
During the previous edition of the campaign, hundreds of citizens, employees of public authorities, and educational institutions joined the initiative, resulting in the collection of 9,000 books for children of all ages. These volumes were distributed to children’s placement centers and hospitals across the country that have dedicated reading spaces.
Additionally, between December 1, 2025, and January 7, 2026, the Government House hosts the illustration exhibition “My Christmas at Home,” launched by the Bureau for European Integration, featuring 58 works created by children and artists from various regions of the country.
