Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi had a phone conversation today with Estonia’s Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, who informed him of the Tallinn Government’s decision to open Estonia’s Embassy in the Republic of Moldova, TRIBUNA reports.
“A very good piece of news for our country! This step by the Estonian authorities demonstrates how strong the relations between our countries are and the support for Moldova’s path towards the European Union,” stated Mihai Popșoi.
He thanked the Estonian Government for this initiative and reiterated Moldova’s interest in further strengthening political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation, and collaboration in education, digitalization, and culture. Estonia remains an important partner of Moldova, providing support in various fields, particularly in e-governance, cybersecurity, and education.
