“European Courtyard” Program — supplemented by the Government

The Government will finance the implementation of all projects selected under the “European Courtyard” Program. The Executive approved a decision to supplement the Single Program Document for 2025–2027 with another 380 courtyard development projects for residential blocks in Chișinău. The total value of the projects included today exceeds 1.7 billion lei, allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development, TRIBUNA reports.

Thus, through the “European Courtyard” Program, a total of 469 projects will be carried out, with 89 projects already included in the Single Program Document. Currently, 57 courtyard development projects in the capital are under implementation, while another 32 are set to begin.

Each selected courtyard benefits from up to 5 million lei for repairing access roads and stairways, modern street lighting, parking lots, playgrounds, urban furniture, and access ramps.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Vladimir Bolea, stated:
“These days we are going into 39 courtyards where no major repairs have been done for decades, and now we are finally starting them. We are changing people’s lives, and every government investment reflects our responsible attitude towards communities and the improvement of living standards.”

Additionally, the Single Program Document was supplemented with four local development projects: extension of the water supply system and construction of a sewage system in Găuzeni village, Șoldănești district; rehabilitation and modernization of the water supply system in Coșernița village, Criuleni district; support for the Volunteer Network for emergency interventions in Sireți village, Strășeni district; and construction of a new artesian well in Dobrușca commune, Șoldănești district.
