The delegation of the Parliament is participating in the 66th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation

The delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova is participating in the 66th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC). The event is taking place from November 23–25 in Sofia, Bulgaria, TRIBUNA reports.

The parliamentary delegation includes MP Petru Burduja, who heads the delegation, as well as MPs Larisa Novac and Veronica Briceag.

The plenary session agenda features debates on the application of artificial intelligence technologies in the economic, legal, and social development of the Black Sea region, as well as cooperation with the European Union and other regional organizations. Participants will also discuss the activity of PABSEC and its related institutions and elect the Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation was established in 1993 in Istanbul by representatives of the parliaments of nine countries. Currently, PABSEC includes delegations from the parliaments of 12 member states of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
