The State Enterprise “Chișinău International Airport” has announced that, starting November 20, 2025, it is prepared to begin refueling aircraft with Jet A1 fuel, having the necessary technical capacity (infrastructure, personnel, volume) and established service rates. The fuel supplied originates from European sources, reports TRIBUNA.

Currently, the airport is in the final stages of signing contracts with airlines for fuel provision.

Meanwhile, Lukoil Moldova will continue Jet A1 refueling operations until its available stock — estimated to last approximately two days — is depleted, in accordance with existing commitments to airline partners.
