Victor Agrici is the new Secretary General of the Parliament. The Speaker of Parliament, Igor Grosu, signed the appointment order, and today, Agrici was officially introduced to the Parliamentary Secretariat, TRIBUNA reports.
“We are entering a demanding period. We will need speed, but also consistency in maintaining the quality of legislative work. We must focus on parliamentary oversight, engagement with civil society, and transparency,” Victor Agrici told the staff.
Speaker Igor Grosu wished the new Secretary General and the entire team success: “An interesting mandate begins—one that will require significant effort, and good organization will be key to achieving our goals,” he emphasized.
Victor Agrici holds a degree in Political Science, Development, and International Cooperation from the University of Bologna, Italy. Until recently, he served as an advisor in the Speaker’s Cabinet. Since 2019, he has been Chief of Staff for the “Action and Solidarity Party” parliamentary faction and advisor in the Deputy Speaker’s Cabinet.
