Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu met today with Nick Pietrowicz, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States of America. The discussions focused on strengthening the Moldovan-American partnership and advancing joint projects in the fields of energy, security, rule of law, and economic development, TRIBUNA reports.

The Head of Government welcomed the support provided by the United States for enhancing Moldova’s resilience and backing democratic processes, including the implementation of projects such as the Strășeni–Gutinaș overhead power line, funded with $130 million.

Nick Pietrowicz reaffirmed the U.S. Government’s commitment to continue supporting the Republic of Moldova in its efforts toward reform, modernization, and national security consolidation. He also reiterated the United States’ strong support for Moldova’s European path.
