Parliament to Welcome 8 New MPs

The Central Electoral Commission has acknowledged the vacancy of eight parliamentary mandates in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, all previously held by members of the Political Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS): Dan Perciun, Emil Ceban, Nicolae Popescu, Mihail Popșoi, Ludmila Catlabuga, Vladimir Bolea, Dorin Recean, and Artur Mija, TRIBUNA reports.

The Commission will propose to the Constitutional Court the validation of the mandates for the following PAS substitute candidates: Igor Talmazan, Angela Munteanu-Pojoga, Veronica Cupcea, Veronica Briceag, Liliana Grosu, Alexandr Trubca, Gheorghe Ichim, and Valeriu Carţîn.

In the same session, the Commission accredited 12 individuals as national observers from the civil society organization Promo-LEX to monitor the new local elections scheduled for November 16, 2025.
