Doina Gherman, President of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) parliamentary faction and Vice President of the Parliament, held what she described as “a very good discussion” yesterday with Nick Pietrowicz, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the U.S. Embassy in Chișinău, according to TRIBUNA.
The two officials discussed the strong and enduring relationship between the Republic of Moldova and the United States.
“I expressed gratitude for the United States’ consistent support in key areas such as economic development, infrastructure, security, and the promotion of free and fair elections.
I was pleased to discuss the Strășeni–Gutinaș power line, a project that will strengthen our country’s energy independence and open new opportunities for economic cooperation and investment.
We value our friendship with the United States of America and will continue working together for peace, stability, and sustainable development,” said Doina Gherman.
