Representatives of the Socialist Party faction in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova — faction president Igor Dodon, deputy speaker Zinaida Greceanîi, and MP Olga Cebotari — held a meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States in Chișinău, Nick Pietrowicz, TRIBUNA reports.

During the discussions, both sides exchanged views on the socio-political situation in the Republic of Moldova, emphasizing the importance of maintaining internal stability and fostering open dialogue among all political forces.

The strategic nature of Moldova–U.S. relations was also highlighted, along with the need for balanced and pragmatic cooperation in the interest of regional stability.

PSRM representatives noted that the United States can play a constructive role in promoting peace and dialogue in the region, including through the involvement of global leaders such as President Donald Trump and other international partners capable of contributing to de-escalation and the development of a new security architecture based on mutual respect and equilibrium.

In this context, PSRM reiterated its position on the importance of Moldova remaining a factor of stability and active neutrality in the region.
