The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova hosted a coordination meeting with the European Union Partnership Mission (EUPM) and national authorities, focused on implementing the EUPM Action Plan for 2025–2027, TRIBUNA reports.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on ongoing projects under the plan. Special attention was given to EUPM’s support for national institutions in ensuring the integrity of the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 2025.
Secretary of State Valeriu Mija thanked EUPM for its contribution to strengthening Moldova’s capacity to manage crises and counter hybrid threats, including cybersecurity and combating disinformation. He also emphasized the importance of reinforcing actions under the renewed EUPM mandate, based on lessons learned from the 2025 electoral process.
Mission Head Cosmin Dinescu reaffirmed EUPM’s commitment to implementing its priorities for 2025–2027 in a flexible and tailored manner, aligned with the evolving needs of Moldova’s institutions.
