The Parliament has granted a vote of confidence to the Government headed by Alexandru Munteanu. The decision was supported by 55 MPs. During today’s plenary session, the Government’s Activity Program – “EU, Peace, Development” – was also debated.
According to the program, throughout its mandate, the executive will be guided by commitments already made through national development strategies, programs, and plans, the reform and European integration agenda, as well as the “EU 2028” initiative supported by the majority of citizens. The document outlines key sectoral priorities, including efficient governance, European integration, a prosperous economy, modern education, accessible healthcare, fair justice, and modern infrastructure and communities.
The Government’s goal is to complete Moldova’s EU accession negotiations by 2028, ensuring tangible benefits for citizens.
“The Government’s mission is to ensure that EU accession brings concrete benefits to people even before the formal process is finalized – investments, well-paid jobs, modern public services, and a friendly, efficient public administration,” emphasized Alexandru Munteanu.
