The European Commissioner for Financial Services and the Union of Economies and Investments within the European Commission, Maria Luís Albuquerque, is undertaking a two-day visit to Chișinău to strengthen the dialogue between the European Union and the Republic of Moldova regarding the development of a modern financial market and the creation of new opportunities for sustainable economic growth, reports TRIBUNA.

During her visit, the Commissioner will meet with representatives of national authorities, financial and banking institutions, and economic experts from the Republic of Moldova to discuss new ways to deepen EU–Moldova cooperation in the financial sector and to reinforce sustainable economic development.
