The Socialist faction in Parliament will not support the proposed government and its program, reports TRIBUNA.
Igor Dodon, head of the faction, stated that the document contains too few concrete solutions aimed at overcoming the existing economic and social problems. The program does not offer clear answers to the challenges faced by citizens.
“Moreover, we do not agree with the number of Cabinet members and consider that 17 ministers represent an unacceptable luxury in today’s difficult situation,” he said.
The politician further declared that, as an opposition force, the Socialists cannot share political responsibility for a direction they do not agree with.
“Nevertheless, based on our experience and competencies, we are prepared — even from the opposition — to propose real measures to improve people’s lives.
Our criticism will be tough but constructive, with concrete proposals, because the citizens who entrusted us with their votes expect not just evaluations, but solutions,” the politician concluded.
