Designated Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu continued the series of public consultations to finalize the government program. He met with representatives of the Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova (CALM) to discuss local public administration reform, strengthening local autonomy, and ways to attract more professionals to local governance, reports TRIBUNA.

According to him, mayors and local authorities are essential partners of the Government in implementing public policies and leveraging the opportunities offered by the European Union.

“We will continue working together through the Joint Commission platform and in sectoral working groups so that mayors and local teams are better prepared to access and manage European funds,” stated Alexandru Munteanu.
