This morning, deputies from the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) held consultations with the head of state regarding the nomination of a candidate for the position of Prime Minister. PAS has proposed Alexandru Munteanu for the role, according to TRIBUNA.

Following the consultations, PAS President Igor Grosu announced that the presidential decree appointing Alexandru Munteanu as Prime Minister will be signed within minutes.

“After that, the candidate will have 15 days to form his team and hold consultations on the government program, after which he will seek the support of Parliament. I hope the investiture will happen sooner than the legal deadline,” the politician stated.
