The parliamentary faction of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) will work with unity, resolve, and determination to ensure that the Republic of Moldova is ready to become a member state of the European Union by the end of the current parliamentary term. The statement was made by Doina Gherman, head of the PAS faction, TRIBUNA reports.
She emphasized that she and her colleagues are fully aware and deeply grateful for the trust placed in them by citizens through the freely expressed vote in the September 28, 2025 elections.
“EU accession is a national project embraced by our entire society, aimed at securing peace, prosperity, and the consolidation of democracy. We are committed to acting with responsibility and determination to achieve this national goal.
We understand that this path requires effort and deep reforms, but it is the only way to guarantee a safe and prosperous future for the Republic of Moldova. Every decision we take in this legislature must bring the country closer to the European Union,” Doina Gherman stressed.
