President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, has invited parliamentary factions and groups to consultations regarding the designation of a candidate for the position of Prime Minister, TRIBUNA reports.

The meetings will take place at the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova on Thursday, October 23, and Friday, October 24, according to the following schedule:

Thursday, October 23:
13:00 – Political Party “Democrația Acasă”
14:00 – Political Party “Partidul Nostru”
15:00 – Political Bloc “Alternativa”
16:00 – Communist Party of the Republic of Moldova
17:00 – Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova

Friday, October 24:
10:00 – Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS)

The consultations are held in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and aim to designate a candidate for Prime Minister in order to form a new Government.
