The Government has approved the Development Program for the State Tax Service’s Information System for the years 2025–2027. The document outlines the strategic vision, key priorities, and planned initiatives aimed at accelerating digital transformation and ensuring interoperability with the European Union’s tax systems, TRIBUNA reports.
The main objectives include interconnection and interoperability with EU systems, strengthening data protection measures, modernizing technical infrastructure, automating data processing and analysis, and optimizing the information system’s architecture.
The impact on the private sector will be reflected in reduced administrative burden, enhanced data security and confidentiality, integration into the EU market, and ultimately, improved relations between the business environment and the tax administration.
Additionally, the Program’s implementation will reduce the need for printing and archiving physical documents, thanks to automated information exchange between institutions via the MConnect solution.
