The next Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova will be appointed with a mandate focused on the country’s economic development, according to TRIBUNA.
Acting Prime Minister Dorin Recean stated that his mandate was “to ensure security and constitutional order,” but emphasized that Moldova is entering a new phase—“and for this, the next governing mandate must be about economic growth.”
Igor Grosu, Speaker of Parliament and President of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS), said that the name of the future Prime Minister cannot yet be announced. After the validation of parliamentary mandates, PAS deputies will hold consultations with the head of state, and only then will the candidate for the leadership of the Government be revealed.
