CEC submitted to the Constitutional Court the documents required to confirm the results of the parliamentary elections

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) yesterday submitted to the Constitutional Court the documents and materials necessary to confirm the results of the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova held on 28 September 2025 and to validate the mandates of the elected deputies: the minutes of the centralized results of the parliamentary elections, the lists of elected deputies and substitute candidates, as well as the report on the election results, TRIBUNA reports.

According to Article 125, paragraph (2) of the Electoral Code, within 10 days of receiving the documents—but not before the final resolution of any complaints submitted to the electoral bodies and courts in accordance with established procedures—the Constitutional Court shall confirm or reject the legality of the elections.

At the same time, the Constitutional Court shall validate, by decision, the mandates of the elected deputies and confirm the lists of substitute candidates.
