Igor Grosu, President of the Parliament, stated that the Republic of Moldova’s accession to the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) confirms the country’s European trajectory, reports TRIBUNA.
“Just a few months ago, our citizens were paying €30–50 for a transfer to the EU, which could take 2–3 days. Now, the fee can be as low as €2–5, regardless of the amount, and the transfer takes just one day.
And this is crucial: SEPA brings together all EU member states, as well as the United Kingdom, countries from the European Economic Area, Switzerland, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, and the Vatican.
Congratulations, Moldova! Another step forward in our European integration journey,” Igor Grosu declared.
