The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has approved today the official protocol for the consolidation of results from the parliamentary elections held on September 28, 2025.
According to the document, 2,738,735 voters were registered in the main electoral lists, and 342,244 were included in supplementary lists. In total, 1,609,579 voters participated in the elections, with 1,578,722 valid votes cast. The voter turnout was 52.24%, exceeding one-third of the total number of registered voters. Therefore, the CEC declared the parliamentary elections of September 28, 2025, valid.
Based on the valid votes obtained by electoral competitors and in accordance with electoral legislation, five competitors passed the minimum representation threshold. Approving the descending order of valid votes, the CEC allocated the parliamentary mandates as follows:
- Political Party “Party of Action and Solidarity” – 55 mandates
- Electoral Bloc “Patriotic of the Socialists, Communists, Heart and Future of Moldova” – 26 mandates
- Electoral Bloc “ALTERNATIVA” – 8 mandates
- Political Party “Our Party” – 6 mandates
- Political Party “Democracy at Home” – 6 mandates
The Commission assigned all 101 parliamentary mandates to the electoral competitors according to the election results and declared as substitute candidates those who were not elected.
Also today, the CEC approved the Report on the results of the parliamentary elections held on September 28, 2025.
Following today’s meeting, the Commission will submit to the Constitutional Court the protocol of the consolidated election results, the list of elected deputies for mandate validation, the lists of substitute candidates, and the final report on the parliamentary elections of September 28, 2025.
