The Patriotic Electoral Bloc of Socialists, Communists, Heart and Future of Moldova is holding a protest in front of the Parliament, TRIBUNA reports.
Igor Dodon, a leading figure of the bloc, announced that dozens of complaints have been submitted to the Central Electoral Commission regarding alleged violations during yesterday’s parliamentary elections.
“These elections showed that PAS has once again lost within the country. The opposition secured 49%, while PAS received only 44%. PAS is once again relying on the diaspora,” he stated.
The politician urged citizens to remain calm: “Let’s not fall for provocations. This is a peaceful protest,” the socialist emphasized.
