President Maia Sandu addressed the citizens ahead of the parliamentary elections on September 28, recalling that ten years ago, together with hundreds of thousands of people, she began the fight against the oligarchic regime and corruption — a fight that brought decisive changes to the country, reports TRIBUNA.
President Sandu emphasized that the road has not been easy, especially amid successive crises and the war in the neighboring region, but Moldova managed to mobilize, launch reforms, eliminate corrupt schemes, and show the world that Moldovans are brave and honest people. “We have finally started the process of joining the European Union. Other countries saw our efforts and supported us,” she noted.
In closing, Maia Sandu called on all citizens to mobilize in defense of the country’s future: “Moldova is our home — it always deserves our time and attention. Moldova must be saved every time. Go vote — for yourselves and for Moldova. Moldova, you are beautiful and brave, move forward toward a better future in peace!”.
