The Electoral Bloc ALTERNATIVA submitted an official request today at the headquarters of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS), calling for fair and transparent public debates, reports TRIBUNA.

The request comes in the context of recent months, during which the ALTERNATIVA Bloc has been consistently targeted by defamatory attacks and disinformation campaigns launched by the ruling party. Members of the bloc believe such tactics only distract from the real issues facing the Republic of Moldova.

“For months we’ve been the target of lies and paid attacks. We demand real debates on topics that matter to citizens: economy, education, healthcare, infrastructure. These are the issues that truly count,” stated Victor Pruteanu, parliamentary candidate on the ALTERNATIVA Bloc list.

Olga Ursu, also a candidate on the ALTERNATIVA Bloc list, added: “We want an honest and civilized campaign, as befits a European country. We have a well-defined electoral program and a professional team. We’re ready to debate with anyone from PAS so that people can see real solutions—not political monologues.”

The ALTERNATIVA Bloc has officially submitted the debate request and awaits PAS’s response. The bloc reiterates that only through open dialogue can citizens properly evaluate the political visions and programs of electoral competitors.
