In response to the appearance in public space of some fake video images, which show an alleged ballot for the parliamentary elections of September 28, 2025, on which the stamp VOTED is allegedly applied in the name of an electoral competitor, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) stated that “this material is FAKE, and its purpose is to mislead voters and undermine trust in the electoral process. Such actions are part of hostile campaigns to manipulate and antagonize society”, informs TRIBUNA.
According to the institution, the official model of the ballot is approved exclusively by decision of the Central Electoral Commission, after the registration of all electoral competitors.
“Today, August 19, is the last day when applications can be submitted for the registration of candidates for the position of deputy. The printing of ballots is carried out only under the conditions and deadlines established by electoral legislation, in a transparent process, with the participation of observers, mass media and electoral competitors” – the CEC noted.
The Central Electoral Commission firmly condemns the spread of fakes, faked images and attempts at manipulation and urges citizens to obtain information only from official sources.
