The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, came with a message regarding yesterday’s talks in Washington, informs TRIBUNA.

The head of state welcomed “the monumental effort made by President Donald Trump and European leaders in Washington to end the bloodshed and pave the way for peace in Ukraine and our region”.

“Lasting peace depends on solid security guarantees. We look forward to the next steps with hope and stand firmly with Ukraine”, Maia Sandu also said on the X platform.
