Irina Vlah, president of the Republican Party “Heart of Moldova”, says that the meeting of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, is “a historic meeting, a historic chance!”, informs TRIBUNA.

“Today, the hopes of all those who truly value peace and are interested in ending the conflict in Ukraine are linked to the outcome of the meeting between Presidents Trump and Putin in Alaska. I unconditionally support the diplomatic efforts that will allow saving thousands of lives”, declared the politician.

Irina Vlah said that those who are interested in the continuation of the conflict, including the leadership of Moldova, must accept the new reality: the war must be stopped as soon as possible, and the decisive step towards peace has already been taken.
