Igor Dodon, leader of the Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova, says that the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump is a historic event and an example of responsibility and political maturity of the leaders of the two great world powers, informs TRIBUNA.

“We, in the Republic of Moldova, sincerely welcome any efforts aimed at stopping the conflict. This corresponds to our national interests, is important for our citizens, for the economy and for the future of the country.

We are confident that reason, diplomacy and willingness to compromise will prevail,” the politician said.
