The Central Electoral Commission, based on the proposals of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has published for consultation the preliminary information regarding the possible locations of the polling stations abroad to be established for the parliamentary elections of September 28, 2025, informs TRIBUNA.
To facilitate access and analysis of this information, the proposed locations have been integrated into an interactive map, available here.
“These data are intended to provide additional information to voters who will be abroad on election day, so that they know the probability of organizing polling stations in the host locality/country and their location in order to facilitate the expression of the right to vote.
We draw attention to the fact that voters who will be abroad on election day can use the pre-registration tool to communicate their intention to vote abroad and thus streamline the process of determining the number and locations of these polling stations. They can pre-register until August 14, 23:59 (Moldova time)” – the CEC noted.
The final decision on the organization of polling stations abroad for the parliamentary elections of September 28, 2025 will be made by the Central Electoral Commission within the deadline provided by the legislation, namely by August 24 of this year.
