Bills passed in the first reading:

• The Parliament voted in the first reading additional legislative measures to combat electoral corruption;
• It was voted in the first reading: A moratorium on debt payments will be instituted for farmers affected by drought from this year;
• The Parliament passed in the first reading the 7th package for de-bureaucratization of the business environment activity. Reduced costs for economic agents are foreseen;
• The normative framework on the environmental protection will be improved;
• The Parliament has passed the law regarding the placing on the market of fertilizers that is harmonized with EU legislation.

Bills passed in the second reading:

• Facilities for people who will apply for asylum in the Republic of Moldova, in accordance with the international standards;
• The Republic of Moldova will participate in the Council of Europe Development Bank capital increase;
• Over 63000 ha of degraded lands and forests from our country will be rehabilitated with EU financial support;
• The militaries under contract and defense staff might be subjected to polygraph tests;
• The residents of Free Economic Zones will still benefit from customs duties payment facilities;
• The Parliament revised the normative framework regarding to gambling advertising;
• The State Social Insurance Budget for 2025 was adopted by Parliament;
• The salaries of doctors will be increased by 15% starting from January 1, 2025;
• The State Budget for 2025 was voted in the second reading: Increased salaries for several categories of employees;
• The Parliament ratified the European Convention for the Protection of Animals;
• The Republic of Moldova aligns to the international efforts for combating money counterfeiting;
• The special commission for the selection of candidates for the position as member of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment was constituted.
