Alexandr Stoianoglo, the candidate of the Socialist Party of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) for the position of President, after the appearance of the election results, urged the citizens to remain calm, regardless of the displayed figures. According to his words, everyone’s vote deserves respect, and democracy means, first of all, maturity in the face of the result, informs TRIBUNA. 

“I sincerely hope that from now on we will put an end to the hatred and division that has been imposed on us. I call on every citizen to look beyond narrow interests, and the mass media and NGOs affiliated with power to find their vocation to objectively inform society, giving up manipulation, hysteria and artificial division of society.

I also appeal to the diplomatic corps, accredited in Chisinau, to treat this sensitive stage with maximum caution, objectivity and balance. Moldova needs peace, not artificial tensions”, he said.

The politician thanked each voter “for the courage to express yourself by voting, for the determination to shape a better future”.

“The future of this country has no room for senseless fighting, only for unity and mutual respect. Let’s preserve the energy of this moment and build together a peaceful and prosperous Moldova”, concluded Alexandr Stoianoglo.
