The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes the Resolution “Strengthening Moldova’s resilience against Russian interference before the presidential elections and the constitutional referendum on EU integration”, adopted with a large majority today by the European Parliament, informs TRIBUNA. 

The resolution underlines the firm commitment of the European Union to support the Republic of Moldova on its European path. The document also condemns Russia’s attempts to destabilize the Republic of Moldova through propaganda and hybrid tactics, while our country is preparing for the upcoming referendum on EU accession.

The MFA welcomes the strong and unwavering political support coming at this crucial moment for our country from the majority of political parties in the European Parliament and reconfirms the firm commitment of the Moldovan authorities to face threats to the democratic process and complete the necessary reforms for accession to the European Union.
