The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has approved the registration of the last candidates nominated for the presidential elections of 20 October 2024:

–      Furtuna Victoria, appointed by a group of citizens;

–      Natalia Morari, designated by a group of citizens;

–      Tudor Ulianovschi, appointed by a group of citizens.

In the same context, the CEC registered the candidates’ electoral symbols for printing in the presidential election ballot, the candidates’ representatives in the Central Electoral Commission and confirmed the persons responsible for finances (treasurer).

The CEC rejected the registration request of Igor Munteanu, designated by the Political Party Coalition for Unity and Welfare, on the grounds that the legal provisions regarding the validity conditions regarding the minimum required number of supporters’ signatures were not respected.

Thus, in the ballot for the elections for the position of President of the Republic of Moldova on October 20, 2024, 11 candidates will be found.
