Today, when “Read a book” day is marked at the international level, the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, together with her colleagues from the Government, inaugurated a new public space – the “European Library”, informs TRIBUNA.
“Through the six boxes full of books, located around the Executive Office, we invite all those who are passionate about literature to come and read here, on the grass – or take a book and leave another instead. For other lovers of literature… Thus, together we will create a cycle of generosity, sharing with other readers the readings they enjoyed.
I was happy to see dozens of students come to discover our street libraries. We learned from them that they like to discover the world through books and we wanted them not to lose this passion. Because a book always brings us closer to a dream. I invite you to be a card closer to… Europe!”, said the official.
